Marketing Specialist (Remote, South Africa)

About the Role

Sweet Robo builds robotic vending machines that are half product, half show. A robotic arm that spins cotton candy into shapes in front of you, machines that sell everything from ice cream and popcorn to custom branded souvenirs. IKEA, Universal Studios, Marriott Hotels and Harvard University already run our machines in their stores, parks, lobbies and events.

We are hiring a Marketing Specialist based in South Africa to own our paid advertising end to end. You will work directly with our marketing strategist and our sales leadership to build and run campaigns on Meta and Google.

This role is measured in leads, not impressions. Lead generation is its own discipline, and it is the core of this job. We are not looking for someone who grows a follower count. We are looking for someone who fills our sales team's pipeline with qualified leads and knows their cost per lead by heart.

This is a hands-on role, not a management one. You write the creative, you design the ads, you set up the pixel, and you read the numbers afterwards. We are looking for someone who can take an idea and have it live and measurable, without waiting on anyone else.

What You'll Do

• Build and run lead generation campaigns on Meta and Google together with our marketing strategist and sales leadership
• Own the numbers that matter: cost per lead, lead quality, and what the sales team does with what you send them
• Write the creative and design the ads yourself: copy, images, video cuts, and enough variations to actually test
• Own tracking: Meta pixel, Google tags, conversion events, so we can see what is really working
• Analyze campaign performance and tell us what to kill, what to scale, and why
• Build and improve landing pages that convert, using Claude AI where it makes you faster
• Protect our reputation online: Facebook, Reddit, review sites, comment threads and community discussions
• Keep our organic social presence alive alongside the paid work

What We're Looking For

• Real lead generation experience. You have run campaigns whose goal was a qualified lead, and you can talk about your cost per lead and how you brought it down (a must)
• Broad hands-on experience with Meta Ads and Google Ads. This is a must, not a nice to have
• You do the creative yourself. Writing and design, not briefing someone else to do it (a must)
• Experience using Claude AI to build or design landing pages is a strong advantage. If you have not done it yet, you need to be genuinely willing to learn it quickly, because we use it
• Comfortable with AI design and editing tools
• Analytical. You read the numbers and change the plan because of them, not because of a hunch
• Excellent written English
• Reliable internet, a quiet place to work, and a computer you can depend on
• Based in South Africa and able to work New York business hours

Working Hours

Our leadership and our main team work New York hours. South Africa is roughly 6 to 7 hours ahead, which in practice means an afternoon to late evening shift for you. Please be honest with yourself about this before applying. It is the single most common reason a remote role like this does not work out, and we would much rather know now than in month two.

Compensation

• $2,000 to $3,000 per month, depending on experience
