Seeking a Mechanical & Electrical Support Engineer with strong hands-on experience working with machines and electrical systems. The role focuses on advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolving complex mechanical and electrical issues in automated machines.
This position is responsible for Tier 3 technical support, handling the most complex technical cases escalated from support teams and ensuring machines operate reliably in the field.
Tier 3 Technical Support Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues escalated from frontline support teams.
Mechanical Troubleshooting Identify and repair mechanical failures including motors, moving parts, mechanical assemblies, and structural components.
Electrical Diagnostics Troubleshoot electrical systems including wiring, power systems, sensors, and electronic components.
Root Cause Analysis Investigate recurring machine failures and identify the underlying causes to prevent future issues.
Technical Collaboration Work closely with engineering, product, and operations teams to improve machine reliability and performance.
Technical Documentation Develop troubleshooting guides and technical documentation to support internal teams and technicians.
Machine Testing Assist with testing of new machines, components, and system updates before deployment.
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
Strong hands-on experience building, assembling, repairing, or developing machines.
Solid understanding of electrical systems, wiring, power supply systems, and electronic components.
Experience diagnosing mechanical and electrical problems in machines or industrial equipment.
Strong problem-solving ability and analytical thinking.
Ability to troubleshoot issues both remotely and hands-on when required.
Experience with automation systems, robotics, vending machines, or industrial equipment.
Experience working with motors, sensors, control systems, or PLCs.
Experience supporting technical teams or field technicians.
