Recruiter (Remote, South Africa)

About the Role

Sweet Robo is growing fast, and every new machine, market, and product line means new people to hire. We are looking for a Recruiter based in South Africa to work remotely with our team and own the search for talent across the company.

Your job is to find great people before anyone else does. You will hunt for candidates for roles across sales, marketing, engineering, operations, technical support, and more, in the U.S., Europe, South Africa, and beyond. You will run the top of the funnel end to end: sourcing, outreach, screening calls, and handing over a shortlist our hiring managers are excited about.

What You'll Do

• Own sourcing for open roles across the company and build a pipeline for roles we know are coming
• Search actively: LinkedIn, niche communities, referrals, competitor mapping, groups, portfolios, and anywhere else the right people gather
• Write outreach that people actually answer, and follow up without being ignored
• Run first screening conversations and assess English, experience, motivation, and fit
• Present clean shortlists with honest notes, not just a pile of resumes
• Manage candidates through our hiring platform and keep every pipeline current
• Coordinate interviews across time zones and keep candidates warm and informed
• Give feedback to hiring managers on what the market actually looks like: availability, salary expectations, and where the talent is
• Track your numbers: outreach sent, response rate, screens, and hires

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of recruiting or sourcing experience, agency or in-house
• Proven experience recruiting internationally, not only in one local market
• Excellent written and spoken English. You will be the first impression candidates get of our company
• Real sourcing skill. You can name the tools and tactics you use and show results from them
• Strong judgment on people. You can tell the difference between a good interview and a good hire
• Organized and self-driven. You work remotely with minimal supervision and still hit your numbers
• Reliable home office setup: stable internet, quiet space for calls, and a working headset and camera
• Based in South Africa, available for meaningful overlap with U.S. business hours

Nice to Have

• Experience hiring sales, technical, or operations roles
• Experience with an ATS or recruiting CRM
• Experience recruiting for a company that manufactures or services physical products

Compensation

• $2,000 USD per month
• Fully remote
• Long-term role with a growing company, not a short project
