About the Role

Key Responsibilities: Pipeline Generation

As a BDR, you will be responsible for the entire top-of-the-funnel sales process:

Outbound Prospecting: Proactively generating new business leads through targeted cold calling, personalized emails, and strategic outreach via LinkedIn.

Targeted Research: Conducting deep research to identify and understand ideal customer profiles (ICPs) and key decision-makers (business owners, executives).

Opportunity Qualification: Conducting initial discovery calls to qualify leads, understand their business challenges, and determine if they are a good fit for our solutions.

Meeting Hand-off: Successfully scheduling and coordinating high-quality, qualified meetings and product demonstrations for the Account Executive (AE) sales team to close.

CRM Management: Maintaining accurate, detailed records of all activities, contacts, and progress in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce).

✅ Essential Requirements

To excel as a BDR, you must possess:

Proven Experience: Prior experience (1+ years) in a BDR, Sales Development Representative (SDR), or inside sales role, specifically in an Outbound capacity.

Communication Mastery: Exceptional verbal communication skills, especially the ability to manage cold calls, engage senior-level decision-makers, and handle initial objections.

Writing Skills: Strong proficiency in writing clear, compelling, and personalized professional emails and LinkedIn messages.

Drive and Resilience: A highly competitive, self-motivated, and resilient personality with a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding monthly quotas.

Tools Proficiency: Experience using common sales tools, including CRM (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and sales engagement platforms.

Collaboration: Ability to work closely and effectively with the Account Executive team to ensure a seamless transition of qualified leads.
