Software Developer (Full-Time, Remote)

We're looking for a skilled Software Developer to join our distributed engineering team on a full-time basis. You'll work across our full technology stack, contributing to products that power autonomous robotic vending machines serving customers worldwide.

This is a full-time position (~40 hours/week) with a flexible hybrid schedule: part of your hours aligned with NY/EST business hours for team collaboration, and part of your hours on your own schedule for focused development work.

What You'll Work On

Our tech ecosystem includes 13 active software projects spanning:

Core Applications

• Backend API — NestJS/TypeScript powering all our platforms
• Web Dashboard — React admin portal for machine management, sales, and support
• Mobile App — React Native app for iOS and Android

Operations & Internal Tools

• Operations Platform — Next.js with React 19 for modern internal tooling
• Team Management System — HR, scheduling, and internal communications

Tech Stack

• TypeScript (primary language across all projects)
• React, React Native, Next.js, NestJS
• MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis
• AWS (S3, SES, SQS), Firebase, Socket.io
• AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) — we'll train you if needed

Requirements

Must Have

• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong TypeScript/JavaScript proficiency
• Experience with React and/or React Native
• Experience with Node.js backend development (NestJS, Express, or similar)
• Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL)
• Good English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work some hours during NY/EST business hours

Nice to Have

• Experience with NestJS specifically
• React Native mobile development experience
• Experience with AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot)
